At Kaarunya Foundation, we are dedicated to fostering positive change and empowering individuals and communities to lead healthier, more prosperous lives.

  • To work for uplifting needy people for their overall development without any
  • distinction of caste, creed, colour, sex and religion or language.
  • To work for the up liftment and empowerment of women by promoting literacy among girls/women, and by supporting income generation activities and other life skills.
  • To work for alleviation of poverty and for getting social justice for poorer, weaker and downtrodden section of the society, both in rural areas and urban slums focusing particularly on street children.
  • To work for the elimination of child labour and to provide education and life development to children.
  • To provide the help to needy artisans for the marketing of their handicraft articles.
  • To promote, establish, run and maintain non-formal education centres as well as
  • vocational training institutions for women and people belonging to poor and weaker sections of the society and to grant certificates.
  • To engage as far as possible in emergency social activities such as famine and relief work, helping the victims of natural calamities and other activities which will help and
  • uplift the needy and underprivileged in our community.
  • To ensure provision of primary education and access to secondary and tertiary educational opportunities as well as vocational and entrepreneurship training including proactive and market-related elements to build capacities within rural communities, in particular for youth, young girls, women, transgender and indigenous people.
  • To take-up Economic development programmes that will be sustainable for the unemployed youth and to organize men & women to form self-help groups (SHG’s) and guide them to improve their standard of living both economically and socially.
  • To Increase access of rural populations; particularly women, youth, indigenous people and other vulnerable groups, especially in disadvantaged areas, to markets as well as affordable financial and business advisory services, such as market literacy, microcredit, loan guarantees and venture capital;
  • To organize and execute awareness generation activities, seminars and research studies on socio-economic and scientific areas along with robotic technology inculcating Al at a larger scope, involving methods and means for development within their social historical frame works and to seek promotion of rural development.
  • To provide basic medical facility, sanitation, general health care and other needful support which can be helpful for public to overcome sufferings and agony of any natural and manmade disaster and to facilitate them to rehabilitate.
  • To promote and support health/ family welfare centres and/or camps for education on preventive healthcare, awareness about major health issues including on HIV/AIDS, and psychological-social counselling for drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
  • To organise social, cultural and environmental activities through channelizing youth energy into constructive and creative directions and to promote and support ‘Swacch Bharat Abhiyan’ programmes.
  • To conserve, protect and promote natural resources such as water, forest, minerals etc. by popularizing afforestation/tree planting in the community, introducing water harvesting techniques, and advocating sustainable exploitation and use of minerals.
  • To publish books, magazines, charts, issue related IEC (Information, Education and Communication) materials and other periodical illustration for generating income for the trust for the benefit of its aims.
  • To provide access to credit and other mechanisms as well as resources for farm based activities, especially for small-scale farmers, FPO’s including women by providing aid and promoting the development of agricultural insurance markets and to take-up and implement the modern Rural technologies and Agricultural methods for Rural small farmers to produce and improve more food grains to solve the national food grains scarcity problem and to bring such kind of awareness in the farmer.
  • increase employment opportunities through labour-intensive approaches including green jobs and development of rural infrastructure, taking into account the decent work agenda of the International Labour Organization as an important instrument to achieve the objective of full and productive employment and decent work for all;
  • To purchase, construct, taken on lease or otherwise acquire land, building and other movable and immovable properties and to sell, lease, mortgage or hypothecate or otherwise dispose of all or any of the property and assets of the trust on such terms and conditions as the trust may deem fit for attaining the objects.
  • To raise funds through donations, by request, by public subscription, by issuing appeals and by accepting contributions from State or Central Government, individuals, philanthropic bodies, institutions, local bodies and industrial concerns, limited or private, whosesoever situated in the Union of India or abroad to fulfil the objects of the Trust.
  • To work in cooperation with other persons, associations, societies, institutions, foundations and organisations, national and international, incorporated or not and to provide for representation of the trust in national and international conferences in the pursuit of all or any of the above objects of the trust.
  • To establish, build or manage Hostels, Short Stay Homes, Rehabilitation Centres, Shelters, Creches, Child Care Centre or Orphan Home, Old age Home, Counselling Centres and as such to render assistance to the poor, marginalised, minority groups, handicapped, widows, orphans, street children, homeless, aged and Help Line Centres for Women, Children, Old aged persons, Drug addicts and needy persons.
  • To encourage the Human Resources Development, Educational Institutions from Pre-Primary, Primary, High school, Pre-University College, Degree colleges, Post- Graduation, and other courses. Teacher Training Colleges like D.Ed., B.Ed., B.PED, and other educational institutions as per the norm’s and stipulations of National Council for Teacher Education. Maintenance of learning centres for transformation of personality, confidence building, positive thinking, communication skills, human relationship principles, active listening, leadership qualities, body language, goal setting, time management, success principles.
  • To mobilize loans from NMFDC, NHFDC, NSFDC, Rastriya Mahila Kosh, NABARD, SIDBI and other Government / Foreign Agencies and lend to poor and disable women for their selfemployment / income generating activities and for their development through their self-help groups (SHGs).
  • To do all such other lawful acts as may be necessary, incidental to or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and objects.
